Boracay accommodation packages, read properly

When a Boracay package is cheaper than a room plus activities, and which line items to subtract.

Boat schedules, resort rules, trail permits, and entrance fees change. Confirm details with the local tourism office, port, or park unit before you travel. This site is an editorial guide, not a booking desk.

A package is a room, a transfer, and sometimes an activity, sold as one number. It is useful when you were going to buy those pieces anyway. It is padding when the activity is a voucher you will not use.

Price the pieces separately once:

  • Room for your dates
  • Jetty-to-hotel transfer, if it is not already how you planned to arrive
  • The boat trip, if you truly want it

If the package is lower than that sum and the cancellation rule is acceptable, take it. If the package is lower only because it assumes a double-occupancy rate and you are travelling as three, recompute.

Transfers that say “Caticlan” do not include a Kalibo van. Flights are almost never inside a hotel package even when the banner says “all-in.” Read May packages if your dates sit in the early wet season, when bundles get aggressive because the island is quieter.

This site does not sell the packages. Treat every rate as something to recheck with the resort the week you pay.
