What a Boracay weekend actually costs
A practical cost stack for Boracay: flights, boats, environmental fees, rooms, meals, and the extras that blow a mid-range budget.

Price the trip as a stack. The room is rarely the number that surprises people.
Getting there. Manila–Caticlan fares swing hard around Holy Week, Chinese New Year, and long weekends. Kalibo can look cheaper until the van is added. See Caticlan or Kalibo.
Crossing. Budget the jetty boat, a terminal fee, and the environmental fee collected from visitors. Amounts change; pay what the current Malay notice says, and keep the receipt.
Room. A mid-range White Beach room in Station 2 costs more in December than in a wet June week. Station 3 and inland pins drop the rate and add a walk or a tricycle. Packages are discussed in accommodation packages.
Food. Breakfast included changes the daily cash need more than a beach club photo does. A simple grill and a mango shake is still easy to find behind the front path. The front path itself prices the view.
Extras. Island-hopping boats, helmet dives, and a nightlife tab are the real blowouts. Decide in advance whether the boat day is in the trip. One shared boat among four people is reasonable. Four separate activities on top of it is how a “mid-range” weekend becomes a splurge.
Carry small bills for tricycles. Card terminals fail on stormy afternoons when the connection drops.
